erica is the founder of red flower acupuncture studio. she is a graduate of the pacific college of oriental medicine in chicago, illinois and also holds degrees in biology and anthropology from indiana university. erica supplemented her training with an internship at the hospital of the liaoning college of traditional medicine, in shenyang, china and visits china annually for inspiration and further study of chinese medicine and language. she is a member of several acupuncture associations including the illinois association of acupuncture and oriental medicine (ilaaom), american association of oriental medicine (aaom), and the acupuncture and oriental medicine alliance (aom alliance) and attends the pacific symposium in san diego, california every year.

before opening red flower acupuncture studio, erica worked with hiv+ patients through a program with heartland alliance and had a small private practice out of her home.

erica mainly practices internal medicine -- specializing in headaches, insomnia, digestive complaints and gynecological issues.
